Phoebe Gresford BArch AADip GradDipCons(AA) RIBA
Phoebe joined Nick Cox Architects in 2022, rekindling her enjoyment of working with old buildings following eight years teaching architecture, technology and interior architecture at the University of East London and Oxford Brookes University.
Prior to joining Nick Cox Architects, she worked for Inskip Gee in London, developing an interest in diagnostic surveying and creating sustainable futures for historic buildings through community involvement and repairs. Since joining Nick Cox Architects, she has overseen construction of the RIBA award winning Blenheim Palace Orangery roof restoration, is leading estate repair works at Sezincote House, and is working on private domestic projects having recently completed her own house in Oxfordshire.
Her Architectural Association Conservation Diploma focused on repairs to timber structures, following a personal interest in hands on conservation carpentry (including Japanese joinery and tools). She is member of the ICOMOS UK Wood Committee, setting standards for conservation practice with timber nationally.
